The Real End
About the Song
The Real End was born from a quiet reflection on the impermanence of human existence.
One day, each of us will be remembered for the last time.
When I sat with the vastness of time, I began to question why we carry so much worry.
This song is not about fear of death.
It is about the fragility of life, a beating heart, a passing breath, and a name spoken once more, and then never again.
In that fragility, I found a quiet reminder that perhaps we do not need to carry so much after all.
Verse 1
Why worry so much?
One day I’ll be forgotten.
Not even a distant memory.
Just a speck of dust drifting in the air.
Verse 2
How can I survive the eons of time?
The real end is near.
Every day I draw closer,
To the edge of time.
Chorus
Soon, it’ll be knocking on my door,
The day I’ll be remembered one last time.
The day I’ll be forgotten,
Lost to the expanse of time.
Verse 3
My beating heart, my greatest gift.
My life is just a whisper on Earth’s ears.
Why worry so much?
Outro
The end is near.
And I’m getting closer,
To the real end.
